Founded in 2007 by two Doctors and an Emergency Medical Technician — bringing together a combined 50+ years of healthcare experience — LifeCall Ambulance Service was built on a single conviction: that every Jamaican deserves world-class emergency medical care.
Today we are a family-owned company providing both emergency and non-emergency medical transport to local residents, businesses, public and private healthcare facilities, all major hotels, airlines and cruise lines within Jamaica — as well as ground support for most international air ambulance companies conducting medical evacuations from the island.

Our fleet is strategically positioned between Negril and Ocho Rios, making LifeCall the only privately owned ambulance service in Jamaica capable of dispatching a minimum of three units to any location in our coverage area within forty-five minutes.

2007
Founded in Montego Bay
LifeCall Ambulance Service was established with a single unit and a mission to serve the people of St. James Parish with professional emergency medical care.
2012 – 2015
Expansion Across Jamaica
Responding to growing demand, LifeCall expanded operations across the island, establishing response coverage in multiple parishes and growing the certified crew roster.
2016 – 2018
ALS & BLS Certification
LifeCall achieved full Advanced and Basic Life Support certification, elevating the standard of care and enabling transport of higher-acuity patients with advanced clinical protocols.
2019
Air Ambulance Coordination
LifeCall launched professional ground and tarmac coordination services for international air ambulance operations, filling a critical gap in Jamaica's medical transport infrastructure.
